TEST OF ELIGIBILITY
FOR INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENT (TEFELINA)

"Test of Eligibility for International Assignment" (TEFELINA) is the next most important step after PAT.  The format of TEFELINA has 48 different questions and parameters which help to analyze and determine in detail  whether the incumbent is at all fit for an overseas assignment.

Aim of this test is to weed out people who may not be able to confirm to all parameters as given above. On review of TEFELINA inputs, if candidate has reasonable chances of success, seven days after submission of TEFELINA, applicant is contacted for telephonic interview which may last for 15-20 minutes.

During the course of this interaction he or she is not only checked for fluency in spoken English but an overall assessment is made of his or her academic and financial strengths coupled with his overall chances of success in an international assignment.

More importantly, if the aspirant is found to satisfy majority of the 48 criterions then he or she  is explained the chances of success. Based on this candidate is asked to take an informed decision, whether to attend personal interview which in many cases could be quite a distance away from his city of residence.
