PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT TEST (PAT Online): As the name suggests is the very basis on which a prospect's fundamentals are checked. Aim is to pre-select only those who confirm to ICPI’s international selection criterion as required by our principals abroad.    

Instructions for Taking ‘Preliminary Assessment Test’ (PAT Online) 

·     ICPI-Overseas Teacher Training Institute or ICPI-OTTI at Chandigarh (India) is an institution conducting training and research into International Career Planning, evaluation, enhancement, development and deployment. It is aimed at providing single-point, end-to-end career advancement solutions to professionals.  

·     ICPI’s "Preliminary Assessment Test" (PAT Online)) is the starting point of a very elaborate and comprehensive selection and training process for teachers who are keen to tap international teaching opportunities.  

·       PAT Online Testing service is Free and is available 24x365. 

·    Before you take PAT you must have a Mobile No. and an Email ID because all responses take place online and through email and  the mobile. Otherwise its not possible to go through the entire process of selection and training. 

·       Before you fill up PAT go through all the entries so that you have answers to all questions. Do not leave any blanks.       

·       Name to be given should be as shown in passport.  

·      To take this test you must be fluent in written and spoken English and they should be teaching in an English Medium School. 

·       Minimum qualification required are BA / BSc with B Ed qualifications with 5 years experience as a teacher. 

·       Keep a copy of PAT for your record. 

·      Within 72 hours of taking online PAT – You will be sent SMS from ICPI on your mobile asking you to call back on a phone number for short telephonic interview lasting roughly 15-20 minutes.  

·       Hence applicants should be alert to receiving, following and sending instructions through sms on mobiles.  

·     The telephonic interview will be conducted by an ICPI Career Counsellor who will try to understand your strengths / weaknesses and desirability of the next step. 

·      Finally based on this short telephonic interaction if the candidate is found fit, he is instructed proceed further with next step which is going through TEFELINA.
