"PSSP" or "pre-select-screen-process"
as it is called in fully expanded form is an innovative
yet proven system which has evolved and thoroughly tested
and benchmarked over the last 5 years.
PSSP is ICPI's proprietary
computerized methodology which takes care of the entire
selection and interviewing process from initial
response, short listing, back ground screening,
interviewing, and selection to the point of training,
development, testing and certification of
professionals before their final departure for their
international assignment.
It has an in-built database of predetermined general
requirement of qualifications, experience, age, subject
specialization and precise list of 48 specific parameters
for an average teacher to serve in a given country.
These prerequisites and parameters vary from profession
to profession and country to country. Apparently each
region has its own unique preferences and variations in educational
set-up, history, social and cultural aspects which determine
the training and development needs. Interestingly
these are arrived at through research carried out in
association with our partners, principals, schools,
education institutions, recruitment consultants and
our alumni in target countries.
The research inputs
are then computerized and tabulated to create key skill denominators
and associated qualities necessary for making a success
of an international assignment in a given country. PSSP
in simplicity endeavours to simulate nearly all
conditions and criterion which a client principal, partners or a recruitment
consultant would have applied if he were actually interviewing
the prospect for his own country.
So far the success of PSSP has been applied
and tested for over 5 years in the Middle
East where we have a sizable presence in the education
sector. So you can be rest assured of its success in
all given conditions.
