| We call the personal
interview here as the final interview in view of
its importance and far reaching consequences for
the incumbent as well as for us. Since here onwards
incumbent either found fit or unfit. Of course,
this is subject to his successful completion of
the ICADEC Program which he or she will be required
to undertake after categorization. But at this
stage applicant is also ready to face his employer
for an interview before proceeding on an international
assignment.
In fact, the personal interview of the prospect
is the most important part of the selection process
under PSSP. The perspective of this interview
is based on point of view of the foreign employer.
Importance of this process can be gauged from
the fact that the candidates meeting with the
ICPI Interview Panel (Generally consist of 2 or
more people) may last anywhere 60-90 minutes.
During this the applicant is thoroughly grilled
in various areas of his strengths, weaknesses
and statements made in TEFELINA.
Academic strengths, spoken and written English
ability and related work experience documents
are checked in original and copies retained for
checking and screening their authenticity
The scores achieved during the course of interview
are recorded in the "interview evaluation
and assessment sheet" (IEAS) for further
processing. The detailed results of the interview
recorded in the IEAS are fed into ICPI's "PSSP"
proprietary software for final categorization
of the candidate as CAT- A, B, or C. ICPI's categorization
ensures complete transparency and fool proof efficiency
in the final selection.
Briefly at the end of the interview only CAT
- A candidates are found fit to proceed on an
international assignment subject to his successful
completion of ICADEC Program. For A brief overview
of categorization process see link in this section.
